anyone have familiarity and or experience with these? looking for additional gauges to monitor things my OBD2 car hides from me. Like actual oil pressure and water temp and stuff like that.
$69.99 seems legit product for a good price.

I’ve used Torque on my Android phone before for some of this stuff. It’s neat, but you should look into what readouts you can actually get on your car. Example: Subarus don’t have an oil pressure sender from the factory, so you can’t get a reading over OBD2.
Also worth noting that Torque plus a bluetooth OBD2 dongle ends up being a total of $20-$25. If you keep your phone in the car anyway, it’s not a bad way to go.

I hear good things. I have a ScanGauge II in my Jeep that I’m pretty unimpressed by and it cost a whole lot more.

I have an UltraGauge!!! I can’t find the labyrinth of options, but you should be able to get the settings you want. My car apparently has 86 gauges it can display.
Mine is currently set to display:
Here are the manuals:

I refuse to believe that any plain-bearing’d engine would not have an oil pressure sender. I’m curious as to why they decided to do away with it.

Damn, if it wasn’t for the whole no ECU thing in my car I’d totally go for one. I kinda suspect an ECU is pretty important for one of those. :P

I have one and really like it, it reads codes and I like having the extra gauges. I like knowing when the car is really warmed up. The mpg calculator is a little off but I think it can be calibrated I just haven’t bothered to yet

Because an oil pressure switch does the same thing(turns a light on/off) for cheaper

I’ve owned one for 5 years now, I’d recommend it.

i have an UltraGauge
I bought it first to read ODB2 codes and reset them.
I had mine plugged in my 2010 SX4 from 2011 till i crashed it in 2015
didn’t even try to plug it on my pathfinder yet.
I bought mine the day they came out with metric system one.
the price is hard to beat for a stand alone ODB2 reader

I have one. I had it mounted in my Sonic. It’s nice. Right now it just sits in my glove box in case I need a code reader.

Goddamnit, got me on a technicality. Didn’t even consider the idiot light (and now that I think about it, my Roadie wagon doesn’t have a gauge, so perhaps it has a switch).
